Sunday Res Side Withdraw From League...(added 28/07/10)
It is with regret the Club have to announce the withdrawal of the Sunday Res. Side from the Worcester & District Football League. Having clinched promotion to Division 1 (missing out on the Division 2 title on goal difference) just 3 short months ago and indeed completing their first friendly fixture ahead of the 2010/11 season, the side have been unable to obtain the necessary commitment from existing/new squad members.

The withdraw of the side brings to the end a more than successful 4 season existence:

2006/07 - Division 4 Champion, WFA Minor Cup Quarter - Finalists, Bernard Finnegan Cup Quarter-Finalists
2007/08 - Division 3 Champions (unbeaten), Bernard Finnegan Cup Semi-Finalists
2008/09 - Bernard Finnegan Cup Semi-Finalists, Worcester Nursing Minor Cup Semi-Finalists
2009/10 - Division 2 Runners-Up

It is hoped that this withdrawal is just a 12 month leave of absence with talk of the side making a comeback after Christmas to play friendlies with the aim of re-building ahead of the 2011/12 season.

The Sunday Youth Side have made an early start to their pre-season training. Training is taking place every Tuesday (18:30-20:00) and Sunday (10:00-12:00) at Hospital Lane......All are welcome.
