Club Facts 
  1. Up until the mid 90's, Powick FC used to host an annual 6-a-side competition at the Village fete.
  2. In the early 90's, Powick's Sunday side played in yellow shirts with blue sleeves (old Arsenal style). The No.3 shirt was very rarely worn as it was thought to be unlucky due to the fact three players had suffered a broke leg wear that shirt.
  3. In the mid 90's, Powick FC had two Sunday sides, the second one competeing in the Malvern League
  4. In the past, Powick FC used to compete under the name Powick United.
  5. Just as professional clubs do, Powick FC used to reward players for 10 years service. Not with a testimonial, but with a Club sweatshirt. The sweatshirt was navy with the logo of a football and Powick FC written above it.
  6. At the beginning of the 1999/2000 season, Powick FC had an application accepted by the League to enter a Saturday Reserves side. The side was withdrawn only a few weeks later after several player changed their minds about signing for the side.
  7. Playing for Powick FC seems to run in the family, with the following people having represented Powick FC as well as their sons. Graham Bird (yes he played and scored for Powick FC in a 1999 tour match in Saundersfoot) & Neil Bird, Alan Craven & Stuart Craven & Bryan Craven, Nigel Tudge & Scott Tudge, Bob Perrins & Rob Perrins. The latest father & son combo played in Powick FC Res' first friendly match but never signed for Powick. They were Shaun Jennings (who did play for Powick FC in the early 90's) & Jamie Jennings.
